Biographical Information
Daniel Juan Gil is the author of Before Intimacy: Asocial Sexuality in Early Modern England (University of Minnesota Press, 2006), as well as articles that have appeared in Shakespeare Quarterly, ELH, Borrowers & Lenders: The Journal of Shakespeare and Appropriation, Modern Language Studies, and Common Knowledge. He teaches a range of courses in Renaissance literature including Renaissance Poetry, Honors Civilization and Culture, Milton, and Introduction to Shakespeare.
