British Literature to 1500, Chaucer, Medieval Literature in Translation, Modern Medievalism

Points of Interest:

I am particularly interested in the late 14th century proto-Protestant heresy, Lollardy, and how this radical movement influenced late medieval English literary culture and political history. My interests also include Medieval noblewomen’s literature and patronage of manuscripts, and the production and circulation of vernacular manuscripts in the 14th and 15th centuries.
